About me

Hi, my name is Anna,
I’m of Canadian and Russian heritage and grew up abroad, moving every two years, which gave me a deep love for languages and cultures. I’m trilingual in English, French, and Russian, and I also speak Spanish at a C1 level. Reading, writing, and storytelling have been passions of mine since I was a kid, and they continue to shape the way I connect with the world.
My ambition is to use words and stories to inspire curiosity, build connections, and make an impact through meaningful communication. Constantly exploring new ideas and cultures, I enjoy sharing what I discover and creating content that resonates with others.
Welcome to my space : a place where stories, ideas, and creativity meet
Moving diaries

I grew up abroad, moving every two years between Romania, Serbia, India, and Kyiv, which gave me a unique perspective on different cultures from an early age. For high school, I first moved to Ottawa, and then to Geneva for my final year. After a gap year in Montreal, I relocated to Paris to pursue my bachelor’s degree in Media Studies.
Today, I’m still living in Paris, completing my
second year of a master’s program in Digital Marketing
and Responsible Communication. Each move has shaped my adaptability, curiosity, and passion for exploring new
environments.

Book thoughts

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
This book had me anxious, laughing, and absolutely enthralled. (also unexpectedly made me cry??)
I loved the way the author built out the world even more in this second novel, and how she centered the story on a whole new character (very Frankenstein-y, in my opinion) without losing the feel of the first book. It managed to be funny while tackling serious themes as well. I absolutely loved it. More from Mona please.

Reading Rebecca felt like rediscovering the magic of childhood reading—staying up late, unable to put the book down, desperate to know what happens next.
A phenomenal, atmospheric page turner. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
